Durgapur Polytechnic College(DPC) is affiliated West Bengal State Council Of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development, Kolkata, West Bengal, Established in the year of 2012 as one of the technical wing of DSET and conduct courses approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by Govt. of west Bengal. It fulfils all the norms and standards set by the AICTE as well as the West Bengal State council of Technical & vocational education & skill development.

Students desirous of pursuing Technical education after the Secondary School Certificate examination. It provides the best infrastructure facilities matched by an equally competent teaching faculty and a right academic ambience to make learning a delight full experience.

As reflected in mission statement the DPC has set upon itself a responsibility of providing quality technical education comparable to international standards and preparing students with vocational excellence. To meet the quality assurance requirement, the institute has opted for ISO 9001:2015 from UAF (UNITED ACCREDITATION FOUNDATION) with deliberative success in the same. To ensure quality education, management is committed to render quality technical education & is striving continually to improve its electiveness by taking relevant measures.

With the help of dedicated and experienced faculty members and modern teaching methods, the college offer innovative, career oriented Diploma Engineering courses, matching the requirement of the today’s industry, since its inception, it has been imparting a quality education to students, which is helping them to achieve their career objective. We also intend to further sharpen our students by imparting specialized training in different advanced topics in technology so that our outgoing students can become not mere professionals knowledgeable in all field, but technically confident professionals with good communication skills – a more matured and better marketable product.
